This policy explains what scan telemetry the platform collects when a consumer scans a GS1 Digital Link QR code, and how that data is used.
Data we collect
- Timestamp of the scan.
- An anonymized IP hash — we never store raw IP addresses.
- Device user-agent (device class only, e.g. mobile / desktop / scanner).
- Country code derived from network geolocation.
How we use it
Scan data is used solely for inventory tracking, supply chain provenance, and anti-counterfeiting verification. It is never sold to third-party advertising networks.
